Candidates who complete all course requirements are accredited with the Swim Australia Teacher licence, valid for three years. Along the way, candidates also work toward CPR and First Aid certification, which can be completed before or after the swim course itself.

Beyond the course fee, coaching is genuine work: swim coaches in Singapore can earn upward of $8,000 a month once established, on a schedule that fits around study or another job.

NTUC Members Can Claim Up to $300 via UTAP
